The secret to successfully keeping African Cichlids begins with Eco Complete African Cichlid Substrates. Eco Complete African Cichlid Substrates are packed with live, water-purifying bacteria to jumpstart the cycling process. Its high internal surface area allows more room for water purifying bacteria to thrive. Also packed in a water conditioner to remove chlorine/chloramines and reduce fish stress.

For best results, use about one pound of Eco-Complete for every gallon of aquarium water. Do not rinse and add water in bag as it includes a water conditioning solution.
